Based out of San Martin, Ca Laurelwood is your pets Home Away From Hom! Offering our longtime clients with a place where your pets can come and socialize, play and relax. We provide your loved one with a indoor/outdoor 4 x 20 covered run . We exercise your dog twice a day in the am/pm If your dog is a social one we will have playtimes put into to place for fun during their stay with us.

For your Kitties we offer a private room with individual play pins for your kitties stay. We allow individual play time out of the play pins twice a day so they kitties can explore and exercise. At Laurelwood Kennels you will find a family run business eager to love and bond with your pet while you vacation with ease.

Requirements for Boarding, Grooming , Pet Sitting and or Training:

Here at Laurelwood Kennels we accept all breeds and any age of dogs and cats. We do ask that you disclose any and all medical or temperament issues so we may be able to accommodate your pet to the best of our ability while boarding with us.There is no temperament evaluation necessary.

Vaccinations All dogs must have current proof of the following vaccines before boarding with us.

Rabies - Within 3 years
DHL/Parvo Within 1 year
Bordetella - Within 6 months

The Bordetella is a vaccine to help prevent canine cough. If your dog has not had the bordetella vaccine before, or if the vaccine is over one year old, there is a five day incubation period before they may stay with us. Our strict policy is the reason most last minute guests cannot stay with us, as they don't have time to meet the incubation requirement.

All parents must provide copies of proof of vaccinations prior to their pet's stay here at Laurelwood Kennels.

Medications If your pet is taking medication, we will distribute it according to your veterinarians instructions. All containers must be properly labeled and state dosage per your veterinarian. Your dog's well-being is our foremost priority. Please be sure to contact your Veterinary for any additional questions prior to boarding your pet.

Meals

Boarding dogs are fed twice daily. We feed dry & wet Kirkland brand chicken, veal & Potato in Small Bites, We give all our dogs boarding with us 100% chicken jerky treats twice a day. Of course, if your pet is on a special diet, you are welcome to bring in their food. The dogs are fed separately. This is to ensure the health and safety of those on restricted diets. We are fully equipped to accommodate raw diets and supplements (i.e., yogurt, cottage cheese, rice, meats, etc.). We appreciate your efforts to keep your pet on their routine while boarding. This helps to eliminate digestive upset during their stay which, in turn, maintains their health.

Payment methods:

We require that all boarding fees are paid in full at the time of boarding pick up, by way of either cash, check, credit cards Visa, MC, or Discover, We will work with your insurance company in a case where long term boarding is required due to re-modeling your home, construction, ect...
